How to draw comics - character design
Love Comics?
Deepdive into the world of character design. In this hands-on workshop students will be learning how to create and draw an original comic book character. They will be guided through teh process of creating a backstory and concept and then a thumbnail sketch. From there they’ll refine their designs, render, clean up and add colour.
Class Includes: Character design instructions and all material needed
Suggested for ages 11 – 15
All skill levels welcome

a Storyteller who grew up without my Language so I drew pictures instead
Writer, illustrator and leather worker born in northern Sweden now living on Treaty 6, Turtle Island (central Alberta, Canada) finding a way to combine storytelling, art and tech with traditional handicraft

Title: Tomtegrottans hemlighet
(“the secrets of the Santa cave”)
Synopsis:
A few weeks before Christmas, the local post office is robbed, and all the children’s letters to Santa go missing. Since the adults seem unable to figure out who stole them, Helmi puts the harness and sleigh on her reindeer Lumi, grabs her backpack with a snack, and goes to look for clues
Down the road from the post office, she finds some letters and then tracks. They lead to the Santa Cave – but it doesn’t end there.
A magical adventure set in Tornevalley, northern Sweden. Inspired by a true story.
